Poptropica: Forgotten Islands App Reviews

This was honestly a big let down. Is hoped that there would be hard to solve puzzles, different time periods, story lines, the things that make Poptropica what it is. Instead I got an overpriced simple boring game that was way to easy to beat.

This game is nothing like the computer version therefor it stinks!!!

This game is great. While I love it and dont agree with the negative reviews, it does have its cons. However, the positives FAR outweigh the negatives. Heres a little pros and cons list: Pros: -great controls -wonderful graphics -smooth gameplay -hundreds of clothing items to buy (with in-game coins) -MANY hours of fun gaming (I dont understand why people say it only took 30 minutes, Ive been playing for two days and only completed 2 island groups) -many cool blimp upgrades -you get to fly around the seas collecting coins and avoiding storms, rocks, etc... -funny dialogue -NO in app purchases -NO ads -you can customize your character -many island groups -fun for all ages (Im 13) Cons: -Gameplay is simple- find items, bring them back. -Im REALLY having trouble thinking of another con... OVERALL, the game is worth 2.99. It is fun and exciting and lasts many hours. Could be better, so, 4 stars from me.

Not worth my money

A great really fun game but what in the world, all of the islands are the same?!?!

I think there should be the original and new islands as well for this poptropica game yes I play poptropica online but also on iPad and I already beat all islands.

I had $8 and I got this game it was $3 but checked me money and I had $3 left that is basically stealing but it is a good game if this happened to you write on your revive I agree with GraceAisling

Controls are Horrid!!!!! The roses and mushrooms are hard to get past, and if you touch one, it sends you halfway across the island! Overall it is good though, and for the people who want the computer version, get the normal poptropica app. Dont criticize this for not being the normal version when it isnt supposed to be.

This is the worst game ever and I like every thing they wont let you go further than three islands and the are so easy

The big fuss that the Poptropica blog made about the app made me think that when I spent my $4, I would be getting an experience comparable to the wonderful original PC game. Needless to say I was very wrong. The graphics and scenery bore me to death; they are so basic and obviously borrowed from real islands that I cant play it for more than about 10 minutes. Also, even EARLY FREAKIN POPTROPICA had gameplay that took strategic thinking and creativity- and of course Poptropicas shameless allusions to movies, pop culture, etc. In Forgotten Islands, its nothing but fetch quest after fetch quest. No strategic thinking AT ALL. Please, for the sake of money that could be spent buying your favorite songs over at the iTunes Store, dont get this app until some HUGE changes are made. App adaptations like this one are what the original game is for. PLAY IT.

Its kind of fun but its super short. I finished it in 2 days. So do not get!

I love poptropica and this app but it sometimes glitches out...

This game was extremely disappointing. For the online version, there are tons of islands with unique puzzles and quests. This one has six and its just fetch quests. It needs cool islands like Mocktropica and Counterfeit and Spy and stuff like that that was really fun not this. Complete ease of money.

This game is not what it says to be. My daughter bought this game thinking she was getting the full version of the free game and we were wrong! This game is worse! We want a refund!!!

So after I hit the buy button it just wont download. It has me waiting forever. Ive been trying to buy this app for the last 3 days! Please fix.

Why wont this stupid thing load Ive trued everything HELP ME

Soo Im here to say that when you put on clothes you cannot take them off. It is a waste of your money, and my brother said I was stupid enough to buy it. If you want to play it then I dont care. But think about me. The game is boring and way to easy anyways.
